WATER DRAGON FEST
The portside Town of Elmina is holding their annual Water Dragon Festival in honor of the Water Dragon Waka. Water Dragon Waka is a known foodie, so there will be a cooking competition held by the city lord as well as a variety of street vendors set up to celebrate the festivities. Additionally, the royal family of Valeria will be holding a hunt in the nearby Pouring Rainforest in honor of this event. This forest is controlled terrain so they will be releasing captive beasts into it. Choose. Do you want to help or hinder with these activities? The choices are yours.

the winds start to pick up. uther requips a pair of goggles to protect his eyes from the sand while his hand tugged the collar of his shirt closer to the orifices of his face, not wanting sand to enter his respiratory system.
enlil takes note of a sound of the bell, which he couldn't quite discern it from the ambient noises. perhaps it was the strong winds that drowned it. no, it probably wasn't. enlil had to remind himself that dragon slayers do have better senses than average humans.
he wasn't sure if he was being too naive by following the directions of a person he met a single time before, but since there wasn't any leads, he supposed there wouldn't be any harm in doing so.
You head towards the sound of ringing. As you chase the bells, the sound maintains an equal distance away. It floats above you, mocks you, and beckons you further and further into the red desert. Before you know it, the skies above you have turned a threatening shade of grey. [break][break] A whip cracks. The sound of horses reverberates. And then, the ringing gets louder. The beat of a war drum accompanies it. The pace is as fast as it is violent. A haze of dust crops off the ground, and suddenly you’re surrounded. Six inky black steads stare down at you with eyes glowing. On top of them are their riders. Their bodies are twice as large as ordinary humans, and instead of armor they work clothes that were made from an unknown material. However, the most eye-catching feature of these riders were the heads they wore as helmets. Skulls of powerful desert beasts. Their eyes are gouged out of their heads, and in their sockets are lumps of lacrima sewn in. [break][break] Pointing a spear in your direction, they make it clear that they are displeased with your appearance. Only those that die in the red desert will be welcomed in the red desert. [attr="class","starrytext"] something was going to happen. he felt it in his gut. the sky dragon could feel it. the sound grew further yet closer. it was as if they were teasing the sky dragon's hearing. he made a right, then a left, and then forward. he'd halt every once in awhile to figure out the sounds location. it was as if he were being played.
coming to a halt, enlil would extend his arm to the side. telling the group to stop themselves. looking up, the sky was painted a new shade. "what the hell..." an irritable grin. the group came to be surrounded by six horsemen. "two for each then? nice, it's even!" enlil gleefully spoke. he took note of the lacrima's within their eye sockets. wondering if these things really were walking corpses riding weird horses, where did they get the lacrima's?
"ah whatever, i'm taking two. if you want, i can deal with the six of them while you all runaway and hide somewhere; you'd only get my way if you become a liability!" unsheathing his sword. enlil would rush in first. sword in his left hand, he'd leap upon one of the skeletal soldiers spear; using the sharp end of the spear as a platform to jump even higher.
from above he'd been to conjure a number of compressed wind knives, ten to be exact. "teardrops of the sky dragon!" he exclaimed. he'd release all ten toward the skeletal creature to his right to keep it distracted; enlil attempted to pierce it within the eyes using his wind daggers.
whereas for the one who helped him leap into the air, that was his target for the taking. he'd come to fall down from the air and attempt to stab the skeleton soldier in the center of his skull. "do me a favor and die, will ya?" enlil requested.

[attr="class","ooc"]uther valeria , Vincent Hext mission: [ main mission details ] notes: enlil summoned ten knives made out of wind and launched them all at one skeleton to his right. he's attempting to use the knives made out of wind to pierce the skeleton's eyes with them. whereas for the first skeleton, whose spear he used as a jump pad, enlil is attempting to stab it in the center of its forehead with his broadsword.
[attr="class","ren"]WITH NOTHING BUT POISON IN MY VEINS
As they neared the sounds Vincent quickly grew alert. 'Skeletons?' He thought his steel blue eyes narrowed as he noticed the lacrima stitched in their empty eye sockets.
'Is that what's powering them? Or is it some form of necromancy?' He internally questioned as he held back quietly watching as Enlil rushed forward and released wind daggers at the one enemy on the right. Huh. Another Dragon Slayer, what were the odds? Though he had more pressing matters to attend to...
'Would my poison even affect them? Their skeletons not flesh... still, it's worth a shot!' Moving to the opposite of the Sky Dragon Slayer. "Venomous Breath!"
Inhaling then shouting out released a toxic blast of poison straight at the skeleton on the left of them, a resounding draconic roar seemed to blend in with his human shout. Hopefully it would do some sort of damage.
TLDR: Vincent observes the skeletons before following Enlil's actions and attacking the left skeleton with his "venomous breath" spell.
a breath? he'd assume it to be dragon slayer magic, but with too much on his plate right now, he disregards the matter for a moment to concentrate on what was in front of him.
"requip!"
twin pistols materialized on both of his hands almost immediately. arms outstretched into a more aggressive stance, he'd point them towards the enemy. with no real body or vitals, however, he knows he has to aim it somewhere instead of just firing indiscriminately.
the head was his first choice, until he notices the lacrima in their eyes.
uther backs away, making distance so that both the dragon slayers were in between him and the enemy. he starts firing shots, aiming at those that enlil might have missed hitting with his knives.
Your party of three rushes straight into the heat of battle. Despite being undead, these riders are more tactile than the beasts you’re familiar with fighting from Mangaja Range. They fight as if they’re seasoned professionals and immediately take aim towards your vitals. As enlil vindr takes the prerogative to launch the first attack on one skeletal creature, two more cave in towards him from the front and left side. As Enlil’s knives rush towards the soldier to his right, the other two monsters thrust their spears towards him with expert precision. Sacrificing the skeleton on the right, they aim towards Enlil’s neck and chest with eyes gleaming. [break][break] To say that Vincent Hext was having any more luck on his side was also fictitious. Aiming towards one of the monsters to the left, he breathes out his venomous breath. Though what’s remaining of the skeleton’s flesh rots right off, it’s seemingly unaffected. It’s jaw twitches mockingly at the slayer, and it stabs into Vincent’s clothing and launches him upwards as if fighting him wasn’t worth it’s time. [break][break] Meanwhile, uther valeria tries to make himself more useful by stepping away and aiming towards the creature on Enlil’s left side. His shots, sharp and fast cut holes into the monster’s body but doesn’t stop it from it’s attack. Instead, it pauses to crack it’s neck. A free hand grasps towards the part of itself where there should’ve been a wound but no blood spills out. This gives your party a slim margin to counter, or change direction of attack. [break][break] 1/6 skeletons defeated. Do you still think you can take them down? Your choice from here will affect the request and future stories. [attr="class","starrytext"] as he fell enlil realized he wasn't going to be able to counter that. so, with a deep inhale, he'd release a SKY ROAR from his maw. using the powerful winds to push his body back and into uther valeria. but, in doing so, he would attempt to break the two skeletal creatures spears so as to make them defenseless and weaponless.
was crashing into uther valeria worth it? yes, that is, of course, if he didn't dodge. landing upon his back. he'd sit up and rub the back of his head. turning toward uther valeria and, then, looking around for vincent valeria . "where the other guy go?" realizing he was nowhere to be found.
he'd stand up and dust himself off. staring toward their opponent for it was now 5. "well, we've dwindled one. i guess it won't be easy dealing with them alone." they'd need to perform a unison assault. "alright then, uther valeria , you're the sharpshooter here." conjuring ten, newly formed, knives of wind. he'd look toward the sharpshooter. "i noticed that they have these things on their eyes, look like lacrima. can you aim for that instead and see what happens?" he asked the sharpshooter.

[attr="class","ooc"]uther valeria , Vincent Hext mission: [ main mission details ] notes: enlil used sky dragon's roar to push him away from the spears that were about to pierce him. the sky dragon's roaring winds were also used to, within attempt, break the spears pointy sticks. enlil asked where is vincent valeria and also asked of uther valeria to attempt to shoot at their eyes. enlil, also, made ten more wind knives and has yet to do anything with them.
[attr="class","ren"]WITH NOTHING BUT POISON IN MY VEINS
Vincent was launched into the air and fell some ways away in a heap on the blazing sands below. "Ugh...."
He groaned his expression murderous at the pain inflicted on him. Oh, these bastard bags of bones were SO dead. Getting up, he noticed it pierced his clothes but not his skin. Thank whatever deity out there for small mercies. This was his favorite cloak!
Making his way back towards his allies with increased speed he managed to catch the tail end of Enlil's words to Uther. "I'm alive, if that's what you're wondering about. Bastard threw me some ways away." Cracking his knuckles and bearing his fangs he sneered agitatedly at the remaining five skeletons. "I'm ready for some payback..."
TLDR: Vincent got launched rather far away by the skeleton but was not wounded. He rejoins the group and is raring to go another round, but does not attack yet.
he'd try to catch enlil, but the knockback from his magic was too much for his strength to handle. he'd end up crashing on the ground with him
"they're too agile!" he'd point out, his tone almost bordering for it to sound like a complaint. "i'll give it a try though."
he foregoes his pistols and goes to his rifle. the two smaller handguns would dissipate into particles as they get replaced with a gun with a larger barrel.
uther aims at the skeleton that targeted vincent, more precisely, at its eyes. he figures it would be the easiest target out of everyone as it just finished an action. if nothing else, at least it would stop it from chasing after vincent and give him time to regroup with him and enlil.
"bang," he'd quietly whisper as the shot goes off.
he readies his gun for a second shot and aims right afterwards, eyes never leaving the sights of his gun. "if you guys can restrict their movements a bit, it'll help me thin down their numbers from afar," he tells them much like a request.
As enlil vindr escapes from the attack, his SKY ROAR manages to disarm two of the enemy creatures, leaving them vulnerable with no means of attack. With no regards to their lives however, the two monsters continue pushing forward leading their armed brethren. A dangerous aura envelopes them as they ride towards your party. [attr="class","starrytext"]"i normally hate working together with people. but you two proved yourselves to be good help." some more than others, but he didn't wanna discourage the poor guy. "clearly we don't have much of an edge on separately, but together..." it'd been awhile since he converged abilities with another individual. actually, it's been years since he's had to do such a thing.
"as much as i hate to do: we're performing a unison raid." of course, it wouldn't be an official ability. it takes great trust and power to perform a proper unison raid. but they didn't have time to talk about their bullshit feelings. "i don't know if you two know what that is or have ever performed it, but it's time to try it out." with uther valeria's bullets coated in Vincent Hext's venom and enlil's wind. this would have to work--maybe?
it was worth a shot.
"alright gentleman, pull out your strongest spells. whatever you did earlier Vincent Hext looked something similar to my roar. i'm going to need you to do it again." enlil was aware that his venomous breath had no effect the first time, but it just needed a little push. "cain, they're about to come. i need you to fire as many bullets as you can. make sure they're aimed directly at the center of the skull or, at least, for the lacrima in their eyes!" turning toward Vincent Hext, he'd say, "i need you to use that spell you did earlier. you're gonna go with me on my mark. try to make your breath as big as possible and strong as hell! use all the magic power you have to build up a nice blast."
back to uther valeria, he'd add, "when you're ready. shoot your bullets into our stream. with my wind it should make your bullets even faster than before and with his venom the point more potent than usual. we'll hold them back and keep them at bay." facing forward, enlil's body began to concentrate magic from within. a light, sky blue colored aura radiated throughout his entire. his hair and clothing shuffling power began to gather. "remember, Vincent Hext together with me!"
and as his magic began to charge. a devilish grin showed his confidence before the FIVE SKELETONS charging toward with a mystifying black aura. "brew within the bowels of heaven, sky dragon's..." performing an enchantment and inhaling deeper than usual, enlil cried "roar!" he released powerful funnel that would hurdle toward the quintuplet. using everything he had, he'd poor more and more energy into his roar like no other. the destructive funnel of wind hoping to decimate some and hold others back.
it was time for their unison to begin. could the other two handle it? would they even do it?
[attr="class","ren"]WITH NOTHING BUT POISON IN MY VEINS
'So, my thoughts were correct... Another Dragon Slayer. What a small world.' He thought with an internal smirk. Pushing those thoughts aside, Vincent nodded before doing as told and releasing a massive amount of mana through his dragon's roar spell. Aiming it at the remaining skeletons in hopes that Enlil's plan worked. "VENOMOUS BREATH"
he complies to enlil's requests. there wasn't much hope in defeating these all in one go. they could try taking them out slowly, but he fears of draining his magic if he draws out the battle too long. there was a matter about how long they could stay underneath the scorching sun.
finishing this quick was the right thing to do.
guns blazing, he follows through enlil's plan and starts shooting.
You’ve… performed… a unison raid? That is to say, you sort of attempt to mimic it by combining three of your attacks. Because performing a unison raid is such a difficult ability, your ethernano has been depleted. You each have 10 ethernano left in your tank, which is just enough for one last D-class attack. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem like you’ll need to use it as Goddess Rebecca smiles kindly on you as she witnesses your attempt. In a blaze of wind, venom, and bullets the skeletons are blown away over the horizon. Though you’re not sure if they’re dead, you’ve managed to cause quite the impact and even if they weren’t this is a chance to escape. [break][break] Will you report back to kingdom?
