still, she took the time rather often, to put things to the side. things that her regulars come in seeking. there's one that really likes bottle caps - so she keeps those for them. there's another that has a need to own slippers. so new looking pairs of something she knows they don't have? she keeps them. it's almost funny that the girl is surprisingly handy too. fixing clothes, adjusting them, polishing jewlery, appraising... many think of Lyme as an airhead and an idiot. and honestly, most of the time they would be right.

she knows better. she's smart, and she's dedicated. it's only in small things like this, that most people even see a hint of it anymore. she was, after all, briefly the heiress to one of the highest noble magic family. at least, until she showed no aptitude for it at all. and yet still, she escaped with her life. if that doesn't show how smart and capable she is... well almost no one knows her story. they might recognize her name, but they don't realize the extent of it probably. her fingers draw on the counter top, as she sighs gently.

and that's when the door jingles, someone coming in. lifting her head, the girl finds a familiar face, and beams widely.
