WATER DRAGON FEST
The portside Town of Elmina is holding their annual Water Dragon Festival in honor of the Water Dragon Waka. Water Dragon Waka is a known foodie, so there will be a cooking competition held by the city lord as well as a variety of street vendors set up to celebrate the festivities. Additionally, the royal family of Valeria will be holding a hunt in the nearby Pouring Rainforest in honor of this event. This forest is controlled terrain so they will be releasing captive beasts into it. Choose. Do you want to help or hinder with these activities? The choices are yours.

[attr="class","starrytext"]landing safely. he would watch as the beast began to thrash about like a child. waving to cain, he'd say, "thanks." with his compressed bladed still dancing in her socket. the other 6 would casually circle the orc. "man, that was too easy." then again, he didn't think to hit it in the end. was he slacking today? and no ordinary mage would go for something so gruesome. he looked over to cain, pondering about the sharpshooter.
"anyway, i told you i'd have your head." enlil grinned. and without a second thought, he'd force the rest of his compressed wind blades to pierce the orc's head. putting the monstress out of her misery as they would dive into her other torn eye. bestowing unto a quick, yet painstaking, end.
"and that's that. i'm guessin' that's a point for us. we should kill that mohawk bear but..." picking up the sheath of his broadsword. he'd slide the blade in. "let's just keep going." enlil suggested. continuing in his lead and raising the hood of his cloak back over his head. he'd let out a yawn upon passing the female orc. "that was fun, we should do that again." he wondered what else lied ahead of them.

[attr="class","ooc"]uther valeria mission: event. mana: 75/100 notes: puts the orc out of her misery with the rest of his blades. continues moving forward.
he was thankful that he was all the way out of the gore. he didn't mind the mess, but he'd rather not have his clothes dirtied and smelling like animal insides.
"well, i don't know if i'd be able to take care of that as easily on my own. thanks!"
he'd return the rifle back to his own pocket dimension, dispelling his requip. it would be a hassle to carry it around. besides, that was the whole point of his magic: not having to carry his weapons around, but still being able to call for them at any given time.
he'd take a few steps towards the cage that housed the bear, pointing a finger at it as he lowered his torso so as his head meets its eye level. "lucky you!" he'd tell the mohawk bear before leaving it alone.
uther would have suggested using the scent of the orc's blood as bait for beasts to come to them, but he realized that maybe moving along would be the better idea. only smaller prey would probably be attracted to it anyways.
"yeah. let's get one that gives more of a challenge this time."
[attr="class","starrytext"]and so they kept moving. enlil taking the lead. along the way there were a few beasts that they were soon to come across. and just the thought of crossing those beasts made enlil hungry. unsheathing his sword, he'd shout, "oi, some creatures up ahead! looks to be about ten of them!" ravenous wolves with three eyes.
"you take five, i take five!" and so he'd take the lead. broadsword in one hand and the sheath in the other. three of the wolves would attempt to strike the sky dragon at once. using the sheath in his right hand, he'd place it before him. two wolves would come to latch their fangs upon it, success. as that was what enlil wanted.
the third attempted to go for his leg, but it would merely come to be split in half with just one swipe. enlil, halting, would swipe the other two wolves to the side. releasing the sheath he once held. a fourth would attempt to take while his guard was done temporarily, but they would come to be pierce through the abdomen. "nice try, doggie!" he'd fling its corpse into a tree. the fifth had no chance as they were split in half the moment he swung as they pounced simultaneously.
looking at the other two, enlil released a toothy grin. "awe, what's wrong? don't get the bite anymore?" the two wolves began to back away, but in their attempt to flee he'd call forth his magic. "don't even think about it." enlil released ten daggers made of compressed wind directly toward the two wolves that attempted to flee. piercing both with five daggers each.
enlil would fling the blood off of his broadsword. disappointed by the fact that they weren't enough to quell his hunger. "we need something like that orc from earlier." where were the high-class combatants that gave him a run for his money? "this was really disappointing." he groaned.

[attr="class","ooc"]uther valeria mission: event. mana: 65/100 notes: ten wolves are attacking. killed five. is disappointed, sort of misses the female orc.
five wolves... he wasn't sure if he could handle that, but it should be less dangerous than the orc, he supposed.
he aimed his rifle at one of them from afar. the shoot connected, landing on the animal's torso. the wolf would fall, though the attention of half of the pack would come to him.
their legs brought them close to uther in no time, giving him not a moment to fire off another shot. one of them, one who uther would assume to be the most senior out of the remaining four, pounced on him. using his rifle as a bat, he'd throw the wolf to the side with it.
his hands would let go of the rifle soon afterwards, disappearing in the air as he replaced them with dual pistols with his requip.
the guns would be aimed at two dogs charging straight at him. a single shot in their heads would knock both of them out at the same time. magic-based bullets meant that uther can tone it down to non-lethal forces. his victims would not suffer the same punishment as enlil's.
the last one would get past his defenses and managed to pin him down after a pounce. uther would instinctively protect his face with his guns. the wolf bit down, though it was blocked by one of his pistols. the other one would point its barrel under the canine's jaw, shooting it and knocking it unconscious.
he'd turn to look for the one he batted away, but it seemed as if it already ran away after seeing the display of barbarism enlil did.
"y-yeah," he'd answer enlil as he stood up from his position. he'd comment about the mess he left, but it wasn't like anyone else would be worried about the slaughter of wild animals that endanger nearby farms.
"we still have time to continue searching though," he'd remind him. sun was still up and the hunt was still on. "do you still want to?"
[attr="class","starrytext"]"let's keep hunting, i wanna enjoy myself some more." enlil stated with his back turned against his companion. except, something was different. his tone sounded slightly different. it wasn't too different, but there was something different. definitely there was something different. he'd begin to casually start walking, no longer running. so, if anything, this was the best time to take a break and talk until they found their next.
enlil would leave the sheath of his broadsword behind. "cain, why'd you participate in this anyway. you don't seem like much of a person who likes to get their hands dirty." it was just a personal analyzation. enlil wasn't a fan of the whole gun ordeal, but you can't choose what magic your born--oh, wait, scratch that. technically he chose his magic and was taught it. actually, you can choose it. so why the hell did he choose guns of all things?
he'd clear his throat from such a thought shocking him. he no longer sympathized. "do you just have a natural affinity for sharpshooting? what's it like to hold one of those?" he asked. keeping his head straightforward. he wondered where cain exactly originated from. what was his whole ordeal, he didn't have the much of a threat to his aura or scent.
he wanted to ask the question, but he couldn't get himself to say the words out loud.
"i wanted to experience the thrill. is that not a good enough reason?" he answers with a smile.
he twirls one of his pistols by its trigger using a finger as he ponders for the reason why he did choose to utilize requip as his main magic besides other ones. he had turned its safety on, so it won't randomly just shoot.
his arms would fold as he tries to recall the early days of him learning the said magic. "i practiced my sharpshooting. it's not really a natural talent or anything." he'd stop his idle action and hold a hand out towards enlil, fingers wrapped around the barrel of the gun.
"do you want to hold this?" he asks, pertaining to the last part.
[attr="class","starrytext"]"practice, huh?" he'd take hold of the item. twirling it within the palm of his hand. "i don't know anything about practicing. my father said i was lucky to even be able to learn the magic that i have." dragon slayer magic was no easy feat to accomplish. it came with a lot of consequences when learning.
"he said that you could lose yourself to the magic. the magic would instill vertigo and many other complications from within. it's not a magic anyone can just learn or take on, you had to have an affinity for it." he didn't know what all of that jibber jabber meant. but he had the affinity for his magic, but it made not a lick of sense as to why. this magic relied on the desire to help people, and enlil had no such desire--not anymore.
deep down within though, that desire was merely subconscious and he'd yet to tap into--or rather understand--such a hidden desire. "anyway," tossing his gun back, "you have a pretty unique magic there. the power to uphold any firing arm, you could probably wield something big and massive that could take out a whole army." thinking about it now, something like that would be possible. requip magic was a rare sight, but many who wield this power were feared due to their versatility.
"you should definitely fight me one day. i'd love to have a swing at that fighting style of yours!" a request made for the future. enlil was definitely curious to see what cain was like when he was serious.
if he was to be honest, he hasn't figured out what kind of magic he has an affinity to. it's part of why he chose to force himself to learn requip magic, since almost anyone can utilize weapons to their advantage.
enlil starts to compliment his magic, a sheepish smile appearing on his expression as he rubbed the back of his neck and stared down the ground.
"yeah i could, but i'd have to obtain a weapon capable of that first. my magic is gated by funds, unfortunately."
his whole mood shifts when enlil basically challenges him to a fight. seeing how he popped off earlier would have made anyone quit, but something in uther brings him to approve of it. he goes back to his peppy self as he responds.
"well, if you say so. can't really deny a request from you after all of these."
