Forge your path, and push forward through a world of magic and dreams.
WATER DRAGON FEST
The portside Town of Elmina is holding their annual Water Dragon Festival in honor of the Water Dragon Waka. Water Dragon Waka is a known foodie, so there will be a cooking competition held by the city lord as well as a variety of street vendors set up to celebrate the festivities. Additionally, the royal family of Valeria will be holding a hunt in the nearby Pouring Rainforest in honor of this event. This forest is controlled terrain so they will be releasing captive beasts into it. Choose. Do you want to help or hinder with these activities? The choices are yours.

[attr="class","starrytext"]he was stunned by how frail she was. from such a short run she tried her best to keep up with him. so was that what hide-n-seek was like? it was sort of being caught. a slight smile donned his face, rosy cheeks embarrassed by how he found this situation entertaining.
as she snatched her basket back. enlil would simply create a pout and turn his gaze elsewhere, a half eaten potato in hand. "it's not my fault you were dumb enough to let me take it." he poked at the girl. "and besides this potato wasn't even good, all of that hard work for what? a potato that tastes like crap!" the young boy bit back. if he could go to another village he would, you think he doesn't think about that?
to hear someone else say what he wished made him so mad. he stood, brows furrowed, and said, "if there was one nearby i would! you and the people here suck, anyway!" a nonchalant reply, he merely smiled through the pain. happily spitting on her words as if they were nothing. "besides you have nine more craptatoes, why are you so upset about one?" thinking on it for a second, hand under chin, he'd devilishly grin.
"ah, say, are you into food that taste like poop? haha, that's so weird!" he teased, pointing and laughing as he held his gut with his other hand. "you're so weird, i like that!" he added. the young enlil, then, asked, "hey, wanna help me steal an apple, crap girl?" he asked the ravenette.
the reticent life he had within this small town was obscured by the people. he was nothing but a thief, a common criminal. a boy who had nothing, while they had everything. he hated this town and the people in it. they were nothing but horrible to him. yet, he found himself longing for what the other children had: family, love, friends, toys, and food. these were the things he did not have, but they had it all.
when you saw a boy with crimson pupils and silver hair, that was the accursed child without a name. at least that's what many believed. he was skulking about the market in search of an easy target. he was forgettable yet not forgettable--no, forgettable wasn't exactly the word to describe it. he just wasn't worth the effort of remembering. but such thoughts would all be forgotten the moment he took notice of his new prey, the girl whose hair was black at night.
yoink.
he snatched the basket from her at a moment's notice. running off into an alley believing he'd escaped her grasp. undoing the covering which hid her prized possession. he'd come to realize that the young girl had purchased potatoes. food, exactly what he needed! though they were uncooked, they were (probably) still edible. he had no objection that's for sure. opening his mouth, he'd say, "thanks for the meal--ah?" sinking his teeth into the potato, simultaneously the girl found him.
he'd stare at her with a bashful look. "mm..." and fully tore the bitten potato off. chewing on it as he stared at her briefly, swallowing it the next. "this is a good potato, you want some?" he offered. acting as if he didn't just steal what rightfully belonged to her. "if you're hungry there's plenty," he'd take another bite, uncaring to remember that she was the girl he'd just stole from.

[attr="class","starrytext"]talk about unladylike. she'll never find a man that way. enlil watched as she tugged at the bee's stinger and tore severed it from the bug's body. it's different when enlil does it, but when done by her it's a big repellent. "you're so proud of that..." he side commentated. he'd then run off to the end of the cart, tugged upon the door's latch, and opened it from within. his plan was to get some fresh air.
devouring the air as he'd inhale its sweet scent. his stomach felt a tad bit better. a devilish grin donned his face, "oi!" looking back toward Elysia Vadala . as he possessed a healthy expression it would only last for a short while. "i'm gonna go exterminate some pests, you deal with our unruly guest." the air around them was healthy, it was his medicine. this job was better for a dragon of the sky than one of electricity.
climbing atop of the train. he'd notice that there were only two killer bee's. meaning their tamer must have went inside. was he not aware that this train was protected by mages? either way, enlil had his goal. he wondered if the queasy female slayer would be okay. he could only imagine what was going on down there.
the beast tamer was inside. checking his pocket watch, he took note of the time. "right on schedule!" the beast tamer chimed. he was one cart away from Elysia Vadala , unaware that the train had one mage upon it. believing that the mage dealing with his killer bee's was the only. he'd an odd cane at the group of civilians, saying, "anyone move and they'll be taken an eternal nap like my poor friend." he was furious, interrogating them while also robbing the civilians, "which one of you hurt my babies. i don't just want your jewels, i demand blood--a head! an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." that's right, he was looking for the one who harmed the first killer bee not too long ago. he was looking for Elysia Vadala , who was one cart away from the bandit.
[attr="class","starrytext"]and so they kept moving. enlil taking the lead. along the way there were a few beasts that they were soon to come across. and just the thought of crossing those beasts made enlil hungry. unsheathing his sword, he'd shout, "oi, some creatures up ahead! looks to be about ten of them!" ravenous wolves with three eyes.
"you take five, i take five!" and so he'd take the lead. broadsword in one hand and the sheath in the other. three of the wolves would attempt to strike the sky dragon at once. using the sheath in his right hand, he'd place it before him. two wolves would come to latch their fangs upon it, success. as that was what enlil wanted.
the third attempted to go for his leg, but it would merely come to be split in half with just one swipe. enlil, halting, would swipe the other two wolves to the side. releasing the sheath he once held. a fourth would attempt to take while his guard was done temporarily, but they would come to be pierce through the abdomen. "nice try, doggie!" he'd fling its corpse into a tree. the fifth had no chance as they were split in half the moment he swung as they pounced simultaneously.
looking at the other two, enlil released a toothy grin. "awe, what's wrong? don't get the bite anymore?" the two wolves began to back away, but in their attempt to flee he'd call forth his magic. "don't even think about it." enlil released ten daggers made of compressed wind directly toward the two wolves that attempted to flee. piercing both with five daggers each.
enlil would fling the blood off of his broadsword. disappointed by the fact that they weren't enough to quell his hunger. "we need something like that orc from earlier." where were the high-class combatants that gave him a run for his money? "this was really disappointing." he groaned.

[attr="class","starrytext"] and without warning something fast, as well as breezy, sped right pass the unknown assailant trying to make an exit. "hey..." he spoke. "where the hell do you think you're going?" a sharp gaze watched the robe dressed individual attempt to make his escape. as if he were running from something. "you do know it's dangerous to be out on your own right..." did they make a wrong turn or something?
"are you lost?" he asked the stranger. enlil started to approach the stranger. he had no intent on touching them, but they sure did seem suspicious. but, can you blame him, he was told to have a scary face every now and then. did he have any intent on chasing the male if he took off running? maybe. he'd only do it because he was acting strange. it's not normal to just flee from a stranger unless they gave off bad vibes.
but, then tat begs the question, did enlil give off bad vibes? "and why did you start running?" he'd stop a few feet from the male's back. should they have kept running enlil was prepared to chase. he was once a dog for the kingdom. this would be child's play.
[attr="class","starrytext"]with little strength he'd swipe her hand away. "step off, witch!" enlil, soon after, held his stomach. this mission wasn't going in his favor in anyway. he had to deal with the motion sickness brought by the train, then the she-bitch, and, finally, potential danger. it'd really suck if a beast were to emerge and attack the train.
"it's best you worry more about.."" he'd burp, briefly pausing, continuing, "...yourself. just the thought of using magic is painful." he'd fall back to the ground. allowing himself to fall against his ailment. he just wanted this mission to be over as quick as possible. but, little did the pair know, something was coming. along with it? someone.
a loud thud could be heard above the duo's cart. looking up, enlil wondered what it was. but not even his dragon senses were up to dealing with it. though, one didn't need super hearing to hear the sound of a large "buzz" noise emanating up above. "don't tell me..." a stinger pierced through the ceiling and came in between the two. "yup, that's a killer bee." and there were more on the way.
standing up quickly, while using the wall to stand. he'd turn toward Elysia Vadala, "how about you be useful and start prparing the bug zapper," he referred to her magic. "there's two--" no, there wasn't two. he'd turn to look at the window across from him. a maniacal laughter erupted from outside as a man wearing a monocle devilishly grinned.
enlil looked outside in disgust. "seriously, this guy..." he looked like an old timey villain in one of those black and white pictures. "is he here to rob the train with bees?" the sky slayer groaned. looking toward Elysia Vadala. the stinger would seem to be stuck within the train's ceiling. "he has three of them, let's hope he doesn't call more." this was going to be a comedic mission that's for sure. they needed a game plan now and fast.
[attr="class","starrytext"]"ah. . ." thinking back to what occurred the first go round. he'd scratch the side of his cheek. lips pucked as they scampered to right, there wasn't much to report back in." he remembered the newcomer vincent being tossed into the air as if he were nothing. it was pretty laughable, but also depressing to watch. poor guy, but in the end he was still kicking. thankfully nothing majorly worth informing happened, at least not to his knowledge.
turning toward his partner, donning a white-hooded cloak over his body. enlil came to be next to his ally, ezrik, and said, "just know that there're pretty tough creatures out there. they're pretty fun to fight though, good for training. i plan to come here every once in awhile on my own." those creatures from back then were tough. nearly c-class level soldiers. they were definitely memorable.
"we just need to be careful is all." looking back toward the sun a little, enlil added, "let's head out before the sunsets. we won't be able to find the red dessert in the dark." and so enlil began to move. taking the lead and starting them off. he wondered what exactly lied in wait for him this go round. and with only two to this team, he slightly worried just how effective their power would prove for the foe(s) to come.

running into the shadow user. enlil would come to fall atop of him. standing up only to then fall back down upon his buttocks. he'd begin to rub his forehead, saying, "the hell did i run into, an armored skeleton..." the silver haired male uttered. enlil would come to set eyes upon Gabriel Alastair. "hey, you were in my way and now i've lost sight of my target. you gonna pay me or what?" he asked lazily, outstretching his hand awaiting for payment. it wasn't easy to find a job this month. and the one time he snags one, though small, he's intercepted by some random creep.
standing and dusting his clothing off. he'd place a single hand upon his hip, "great, now it's going to take forever to find that cat again. seriously, you gonna pay me? i rather head home now." looking around, he'd also ask, "ah. i wonder if that guy who's suppose to find a cat with me has shown up. oi, pointy brow, you seen someone looking for a cat around here?" enlil asked, unaware that Gabriel Alastair was his partner.

[attr="class","starrytext"] as he fell enlil realized he wasn't going to be able to counter that. so, with a deep inhale, he'd release a SKY ROAR from his maw. using the powerful winds to push his body back and into uther valeria. but, in doing so, he would attempt to break the two skeletal creatures spears so as to make them defenseless and weaponless.
was crashing into uther valeria worth it? yes, that is, of course, if he didn't dodge. landing upon his back. he'd sit up and rub the back of his head. turning toward uther valeria and, then, looking around for vincent valeria . "where the other guy go?" realizing he was nowhere to be found.
he'd stand up and dust himself off. staring toward their opponent for it was now 5. "well, we've dwindled one. i guess it won't be easy dealing with them alone." they'd need to perform a unison assault. "alright then, uther valeria , you're the sharpshooter here." conjuring ten, newly formed, knives of wind. he'd look toward the sharpshooter. "i noticed that they have these things on their eyes, look like lacrima. can you aim for that instead and see what happens?" he asked the sharpshooter.

[attr="class","starrytext"]it smelled like 'bitch' in here. and it wasn't emerging from the toilet he'd just left. it came from behind, "Elysia Vadala ..." the wench he partook on this mission with. forcing a grin upon his face, he'd, shakily, stand.
his legs were wobbling. but he was able and that's all that mattered. "you b-better pray we get t-to where we go safe..." he'd cover his mouth, "...safely. i-i'd hate to have to embarrassment, she-bitch." he used the windowsill to help him stand. holding himself up, the sky dragon had no intent on losing to her of all people.
"of all the people i had to be with, it was you." cradle cat's number one she devil. a pain in his ass. she was what he hated most in women: attitude. she was cocky, overconfident, and, quite frankly, a bit abrasive. she was like him, but way worse. he wondered just who the hell raised such a woman.
[attr="class","starrytext"] something was going to happen. he felt it in his gut. the sky dragon could feel it. the sound grew further yet closer. it was as if they were teasing the sky dragon's hearing. he made a right, then a left, and then forward. he'd halt every once in awhile to figure out the sounds location. it was as if he were being played.
coming to a halt, enlil would extend his arm to the side. telling the group to stop themselves. looking up, the sky was painted a new shade. "what the hell..." an irritable grin. the group came to be surrounded by six horsemen. "two for each then? nice, it's even!" enlil gleefully spoke. he took note of the lacrima's within their eye sockets. wondering if these things really were walking corpses riding weird horses, where did they get the lacrima's?
"ah whatever, i'm taking two. if you want, i can deal with the six of them while you all runaway and hide somewhere; you'd only get my way if you become a liability!" unsheathing his sword. enlil would rush in first. sword in his left hand, he'd leap upon one of the skeletal soldiers spear; using the sharp end of the spear as a platform to jump even higher.
from above he'd been to conjure a number of compressed wind knives, ten to be exact. "teardrops of the sky dragon!" he exclaimed. he'd release all ten toward the skeletal creature to his right to keep it distracted; enlil attempted to pierce it within the eyes using his wind daggers.
whereas for the one who helped him leap into the air, that was his target for the taking. he'd come to fall down from the air and attempt to stab the skeleton soldier in the center of his skull. "do me a favor and die, will ya?" enlil requested.

[attr="class","starrytext"]"a fighter? i like the way you think!" enlil praised. maybe this vincent character wasn't such a square after all. enlil may have misjudged him. enlil took notice of cain's, rather strange, comment. that was oddly a specific thing to say, but maybe it was just random. lifting a curse does sound more boring and tedious work.
the group continued moving ahead. and a strange storm began to pick up, but with his dragon senses did enlil, too, begin to feel something different. "that noise.." his ears picked up a strange ring,"...a bell?" and without so much as a warning. enlil would take off. holding onto his cloak, shouting, "cain, other!" follow me! the sky dragon exclaimed. not taking the time to call Vincent Hext by his name.
"there's a weird ringing coming this way!" he hoped it was someone or something worth fighting. "let's see what it is; come on, keep up!" he exclaimed to the duo behind. following the ring. gripping the broadsword's handle, he was ready to slay whatever lied ahead of the group. his excitement just kept growing with unimaginative thoughts, "ah man, ah man, finally something fun is going to happen!" enlil exclaimed with a wide grin. excited to uncover the unknown.
[attr="class","starrytext"]landing safely. he would watch as the beast began to thrash about like a child. waving to cain, he'd say, "thanks." with his compressed bladed still dancing in her socket. the other 6 would casually circle the orc. "man, that was too easy." then again, he didn't think to hit it in the end. was he slacking today? and no ordinary mage would go for something so gruesome. he looked over to cain, pondering about the sharpshooter.
"anyway, i told you i'd have your head." enlil grinned. and without a second thought, he'd force the rest of his compressed wind blades to pierce the orc's head. putting the monstress out of her misery as they would dive into her other torn eye. bestowing unto a quick, yet painstaking, end.
"and that's that. i'm guessin' that's a point for us. we should kill that mohawk bear but..." picking up the sheath of his broadsword. he'd slide the blade in. "let's just keep going." enlil suggested. continuing in his lead and raising the hood of his cloak back over his head. he'd let out a yawn upon passing the female orc. "that was fun, we should do that again." he wondered what else lied ahead of them.

[attr="class","starrytext"] a pile of unconscious animals were placed atop of one another. enlil was seen spotted standing in front of them. in the right palm of his hand was a beast that looked to possess the body of a gorilla. big, white fur, and strong hands. he held the unconscious creature with horns by one of his horns. "and that's number six." he'd throw it onto the pile.
"that should be all of them. normally there's never many this out, but i guess people should be able to walk through this placed without worry." and with that he'd begin to make his exit. casually heading back to the guild as he walked toward a bridge that laid over a roaring river. the tides were strong, the bridge made of wood.
enlil wondered how sturdy this bridge had been. as he crossed over it the bridge, as usual, felt sturdy. as if it was just recently made. had this thing been imbued with magic of sorts to keep it from wearing down? oh well, not his problem. he casually continued his walk back, all while thinking about getting some training in later. "training..." back when he was a member of the jaeger squad, today was training day. "did i take on this mission subconsciously..."
stopping half way on the bridge. enlil placed the right palm of his hand atop of his head. "the hell's wrong with me today." then he heard the whisper of a name, 'trey'. turning around quickly, he'd possess a shocked expression. "was that..." once more he'd place the palm of his hand upon his head.

"oh! you really are usef--a great teammate!" holding his nose, enlil wasn't too much a fan of the orc's breath. but what cain had done gave the wind user an idea.
"o cryin' angel sitting on the heavenly winds..." a breeze began to pick up. air had started to arise. a surge of wind began to swirl above their heads. "...i ask that you grant me a blade to slay this foe," and then, "teardrops of the sky dragon!" solidifying compressed wind. enlil creates blades, approximately ten knives, made of wind. shaping them in the form of throwing knives traveling at d-rank max range. capable of dealing d-rank cutting damage, the knives begin to move at an active d-rank flight speed.
maneuvering his free hand, being the right as the other was caught in the orc's arms. enlil began to lazily move his right hand in different directions. he would launch TWO (2) wind knives into the orc's other air. attempting to dig not only deeply into it, but he would try to enforce the two knives made of wind to go straight through her head.
"mind doin' me a favor and just dying?" sharpened eyes watched. attempting to pierce through the orc's head with all his magical might. and, should it prove to fail with just only two, enlil would send TWO MORE KNIVES into the same hole the first pair pierced. trying his best to shove the windy knives through its head.
